New date for MasterPlan survey results - The meeting to receive an update on the Recreation and Park Master Plan with City Council has been re-scheduled to Wednesday, May 2, 2018. The meeting will begin at 8:00 p.m. in Multi-Purpose Room at the Community Center; need confirmation of attendance b. Launching of the logo (successfully launched on March 31 at the Egg Hunt). At this time, Greenbelt Recreation logo should be present throughout the department (new banners were hung in centers, new logo was put on special event fliers, new letterhead has been printed, fliers should have a consistent look throughout the department, etc.) c.     Visualize 2045 is the federally required long-range transportation plan for the National Capital Region. It will identify all regionally significant transportation investments planned through 2045 plus those not yet funded. And it will provide detailed analysis to help decision-makers and the public “visualize” the future. The National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board is seeking input from the public regarding seven regionwide initiatives that are highlighted in Visualize 2045, the regional long-range transportation plan. • Bring Jobs and Housing Closer Together • Expand Bus Rapid Transit Regionwide • Move More People on Metrorail • Provide More Telecommuting and Other Options for Commuting • Expand Express Highway Network • Improve Walk and Bike Access to Transit • Complete the National Capital Trail We want to know what you envision for the future of the region and how you think these initiatives could make a difference in your daily life
