Classes, Workshops, Special Events

The City of Greenbelt Department of Recreation offers over 120 classes and workshops annually in the visual arts. Programs serve ages 2 through seniors. Classes are led by professional artist educators from throughout the region and abroad.

Disciplines include: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, fiber arts, glass arts, ceramics, large-scale festival arts projects, and more.

Prospective arts instructors are invited to contact Monica Mische, Arts Education Specialist, at any time to express interest in offering arts programs with the Greenbelt Recreation Department.
