African Drumming and Dance
AFRICAN DRUMMING Ages 10-Adult
Learn the history and techniques of Western and Central African drumming traditions in an atmosphere of empowerment and peer support. Beginners and all levels welcome. Bring your drum or borrow one from the instructor. The class meets 6:30 - 8:00pm, plus optional free practice time from 8-9:30pm - join in the drumming for the African Dance class which follows. Instructors: Yuma Bellomee and Rahjae Bellomee.
