| Purpose: | Conduct hearings when a classified, permanent employee receiving a dismissal, suspension, or demotion files an appeal, then render a decision that stands as the decision of the City of Greenbelt; hear grievance complaints, make findings and recommendations to the City Council; review personnel policies and practices as they relate to appeals and grievances brought before this board; and make recommendations to the City Council and City Manager for the purpose of resolving difficulties prior to a need to file an appeal or grievance. |
