  2. Litter Cleanup

    March 24, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Greenbelt Station walking trail on Cherrywood Lane

    Volunteers are needed for a litter cleanup on Saturday, March 24 from 10 AM – 12 PM at the new walking trail near Beltway Plaza. Be a part of the community effort to keep Greenbelt beautiful and free of litter! The trail is accessible at the corner of Cherrywood Lane and Breezewood Drive. Volunteers will meet at the parking lot behind Beltway Plaza Mall, near the Shell gas station. Gloves and trash/recycling bags will be provided. Reminders: • Wear weather appropriate clothes and closed-toed shoes • Bring a reusable water bottle • School students: bring your service-learning forms

    Celebrate spring and this egg-citing event! For all youngsters from 18 months old to 4th graders. Bring your baskets to collect all the eggs; each age group will have one golden egg hidden among the eggs. We will also have a special visit from Mr. Bunny.
