WORK SESSION of the Greenbelt City Council held June 20, 2005,for the purpose of interviewing a candidate for a City Council advisory group.

The meeting began at 7:35 p.m. It was held in the Library of the Municipal Building.

PRESENT WERE: Councilmembers Konrad E. Herling, Leta M. Mach, Rodney M. Roberts, and Mayor Judith F. Davis. Councilmember Edward V. J. Putens arrived at about 7:40 p.m.

STAFF PRESENT: Kathleen Gallagher, City Clerk.

The following individual was interviewed for appointment to the following advisory group:

Tatiana Ausema – Arts Advisory Board

There was discussion of involving the Arts Advisory Board in the review of plans for new development (e.g., Springhill Lake and Greenbelt Station) for purposes of identifying opportunities for including public art and arts-related spaces.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
