GREENBELT DANCE STUDIO

Greenbelt Dance Studio is a program of the Greenbelt Recreation Department.  Offering high-quality, affordable dance instruction to children, teens and adults, we are a dedicated to enriching the lives of our students through the joyful art of dance.  Our beautiful studio is located in the Greenbelt Community Center at 15 Crescent Drive.  We look forward to dancing with you!

During the summer, the Greenbelt Dance Studio is in use by our arts-based summer day camps, Creative Kids Camp (ages 6-12) and Camp Encore (ages 13-15).  For camp information and registration, click here.

We also offer late afternoon Mini-Dance Camps for ages 3-7, Mad Hot Ballroom classes for ages 16 and up, and Ultimate Groove Workout classes for ages 18 and up.  To choose a class, peruse the Class Offerings, Class Schedule, or download the entire Recreation Department Brochure.  To help dancers prepare for class, check out the Dance Attire requirements and Studio Rules.

MINI-DANCE CAMPS

The perfect late afternoon break for you and a wonderful dance experience for your young child!  These fun mini-camps meet for one hour on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for two consecutive weeks.  Each session is designed around a different theme and culminates with an in-studio performance for family and friends!  No previous dance experience required. Taught by Angella Foster, Director of Studio Dance Instruction

 CREATIVE MOVEMENT MINI-CAMPS (AGES 3-4) 

A joyful exploration of movement, music and imagination with a storybook theme.

PRE-DANCE MINI-CAMPS (AGES 5-7)

Through music and movement, we will be learning about and celebrating different aquatic life habitats featured at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
