Ageless Grace

Join in or become an instructor in this fitness and wellness program consisting of 21 simple tools for lifelong comfort and ease, designed for all ages and abilities.  For more information and to watch a video about this program, visit our Ageless Grace page.

October Events:
Costume Contest & Parade- Thursday, October 30
Registration 4pm-4:40pm; Parade starts at 4:40pm sharp
Roosevelt Center--in the grassy area in front of Curves

Come dressed in your finest Halloween costume! Prizes will be rewarded to contestants with the most innovative costume in their age group. There will also be a category for the best in family and best pet. Refreshments and a performance by comedy juggler and circus performer, Michael Rossman. In the event of inclement weather, call the Weather & Information hotline: 301-474-0646. 

Trick-or-Treat- Friday, October 31
6:00pm-8:00pm- City of Greenbelt
Residents wishing to participate in trick-or-treat are asked to turn on their porch lights. Apartment dwellers should tie a piece of white cloth to their door. 

November Events: 
Ghoul Skate Party, Saturday, November 1
1:00pm-3:00pm- Springhill Lake Recreation Center
Ages 6-14, ages 11 and under require adult supervision
Grab your skates and mark the date! SHL Rec Center will host the 2nd Annual Ghoul Skate Party. Don your best costume and roll into fall. Trick or treat bags will be distributed. Roller skates are available free or charge or bring your own! Youth ages 6-14 will also be able to pick and decorate a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are free and available while supplies last. Co-sponsored by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. For additional information, contact Frank or Brian at 301-397-2212.

Artful Afternoon- Greenbelt Dances! Expo, Sunday, November 2

Times vary for individual activities- Most activities free
