Electronics Recycling
The City holds Quarterly Electronic Recycling Events.  During these events, Items can be dropped off at the Public Works Facility at 555 Crescent Road. city residents, businesses, and organizations can recycle old and/or unwanted computers and other electronic items. 

The Electronics Recycling Events for 2018 will be held  on
JAUARY 27, APRIL 28, JULY 28 AND OCTOBER 27 from 9am-12pm 

Accepted items include:
  • Batteries taped on one end
  • Cameras
  • CPUs
  • DVD players
  • Expanded polystyrene (block #6). No cups, egg-cartons, or food trays
  • Keyboards
  • Laptop computers
  • Mice printers
  • Monitors
  • Radios
  • Recording equipment
  • Scanners
  • Speakers
  • Surge protectors
  • Telephones
  • TVs
  • VCRs
  • Wires and power cords
  • Fax machines

Please call in advance if you want to drop off of more than 10 items or items over 50 lbs.

Yuck Paint Recycling
Your old paint will be used in developing countries' humanitarian construction projects. DO NOT mix paint in other containers. In order for the paint to be properly used, the contents on the inside need to match the label on the outside. Cost - $5 per container

Block Expanded Polystyrene (Block Styrofoam) white, clean, #6.


Batteries must be taped on one end. You can use masking, duct, or electric tape. It does not matter which end. We will not take batteries that are not taped at one end. Untaped batteries are a fire hazard. MOMs also takes taped batteries.

We do not accept televisions larger than 32 inches.

Compact florescent lights are not accepted at Electronics Recycling.  Consumers can take all used, unbroken CFL bulbs to any IKEA store. Look for the bins near the exit doors. Learn more about how to recycle CFLs with this video.
