PLANNING |

The Planning office is responsible for overseeing all physical development in the City. Duties include reviewing development projects for impact on the City; planning, coordinating and managing capital projects; compiling demographic data and the preparation of population and housing projections; coordination of planning and development activities with other public bodies; planning and coordinating environmental enhancement projects; serving as liaison to the Advisory Planning Board and the Board of Appeals; preparing special studies addressing particular issues; drafting legislation; and other duties as necessary. |
