PARKING TICKET ADJUDICATION:

A citizen has 10 calendar days to request court, and/or they can complete the parking adjudication form for any ticket that has an officer number of 700, 710 or 715.

PARKING NEWS

The City Council has approved legislation limiting on-street parking, without movement of a vehicle, for 30 days. The new code language is as follows:

Sec. 11-52. Storage of vehicles.

It shall be unlawful to park or store a vehicle upon a public street, alley, roadway or parking lot for a period of thirty (30) consecutive days in a single parking space without movement of such vehicle, unless a long-term parking permit has been issued to the vehicle by the city.

Long-term parking permits may be requested through the Department of Planning and Community Development.
