Paint Disposal

Dried latex paint can be dispoed of through special trash collection. Residents are advised to remove tops from latex paint cans in a safe, well-ventilated area and allow the paint to dry. The paint can be mixed with shredded paper or kitty litter to speed the drying process.

Oil based paints must be disposed of as hazardous waste. Residents can drop off household hazardous waste free of charge every Sunday at the Brown Station Road Landfill.
