The City of Greenbelt offers various organized sports leagues, classes, and tournaments annually. The Greenbelt Boys and Girls Club and other local organizations offer organized sports for children. • For Your Information…
• In order to be considered a resident team, 60% of your roster must have a residency in Greenbelt.
• The Greenbelt Boys & Girls Club will have youth football, soccer & cheerleading in the fall. For more information please contact the Greenbelt Boys & Girls Club information line at 301-794-0100.
• Greenbelt Baseball will offer fall baseball for children between the ages of 8 – 12. For more information please call John White at 301-577-1257.
• The Greenbelt Youth Center and the Springhill Lake Recreation Center gymnasiums are available for rent to play basketball, Monday thru Saturday 6am – 8am and 10pm – 12am. On Sundays the Gym may be rented from 8am–1pm and 10pm–12am. The fees are based on an hourly rate and are $45 for residents and $55 for non-residents. Showers and lockers are only available at the Youth Center.
