EGG HUNT

Bring your basket and help the Bunny find the eggs he and his helpers have hidden. Mister Bunny will visit at Buddy Attick Park (Greenbelt Lake) and all egg hunters, ages 18 months through 6th grade, are invited to join him. The hunt will begin promptly at 10:00am.

Earth Day, Arbor Day,
Tree Tour & Public Works Open House

Come out to the Public Works Facility and enjoy demonstrations, tours AND hot dogs & light refreshments. For more information contact Public Works at 301-474-8004. In addition to the Public Works open house, the Greenbelt Recycling and Environment Advisory Committee will be hosting its Earth Day celebration from 10am - 12noon at the Hillside Underpass. Members of the Advisory Committee on Trees will celebrate Arbor Day with a tree planting at 12:00noon – also at the Hillside Underpass. Join members of each committee in planting native plants as the final landscape improvements to this project are completed. A Tree Tour of large and unusual trees throughout the city will depart at 12:15pm. The tour will leave the Hillside Underpass and pick-up all those interested at the Public Works Open House. Celebration of Spring

Shake off the cold days of winter, and spring into action at the Celebration of Spring. Come join the Greenbelt Recreation Department and your friends and neighbors at the Springhill Lake Recreation Center. The Recreation Department will provide entertainment, make and take art activities, and games. Food and drink will be sold for a nominal fee.
