WIDOWED PERSONS SUPPORT GROUP

The Patuxent Widowed Persons Service conducts six-week support groups to help newly widowed persons adapt to their new circumstances. The next group starts Thursday, September 20, 2007 in the Greenbelt Community Center, 15 Crescent Road. The sessions will be held from 7:00-9:00pm on six Thursday evenings, ending October 25.

 

This program is open to widowed men and women of all ages, races and creeds. It is sponsored by AARP and the Greenbelt Senior Citizens Advisory Committee. Both emotional support and practical information are provided.
