GED COURSES

GED classes are offered four times each year. Fall, winter, and spring classes are 10 weeks long; the summer segment runs four weeks. All classes are held twice weekly.  Students are taught high school curricula in preparation for taking the GED test.

SUMMER MINI- GED 4-WEEK COURSE INFORMATION

BEGINS TUESDAY, JULY 10TH

Registration:   Tuesday, July 8th beginning promptly at 10:30am!!!
No one will be accepted into the class after this date.

ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF RESIDENCY
(i.e. driver's license, current lease, phone or electric bill)

 Greenbelt residents are not required to pay a GED registration fee but will be required to purchase the textbooks (prices to be announced) and $10 for the calculator. Non-Greenbelt residents will be charged $150 registration fee plus $10  for the calculator and cost of the textbooks (to be announced). 

All fees are non-refundable. ONLY CASH OR MONEY ORDERS ARE ALLOWED. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

1st day of class work begins on THURSDAY, July 10, 2008.

 * GED I is for students who need review of basic math, English and comprehension skills

* GED II is for students who need review of algebra, geometry, English composition and comprehension skills, and need to become acquainted with the GED test

   Students who need more remediation will be referred to Prince George's County Pre-GED course.

 • Maximum of 12 students in each class.

 GED is held on Tuesday and Thursday, for10 weeks, in the Municipal Building, 25 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770. GED I is held from 10:30 - 12:30.
