How do I login? What’s my username and password?

If you have previously enrolled in a Greenbelt Recreation Department program you can login using your home phone number (10 digits, no spaces or dashes) as your "user name" and your zipcode as the password.

The first time you login, you'll be asked to change your ID and password, which we encourage you to do. This will provide additional security to your contact information.

 

How do I change my username and password?

Once you are logged in, go to: "My Account" then "Change Username or PIN," Make any necessary changes and click submit.

After clicking Submit you’ll get a box verifying that the Information has been updated.

 
What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, the system can send you an e-mail with your password after you’ve answered two qualifying questions - just click on the "Having trouble signing in?" link on the login page. You will, however, need to know your login "User Name" or household ID number in order to get your password sent to you. If you do not receive an e-mail please contact us Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 301-397-2200 or2208.

 

What if I forget my username?

If you don’t remember your username, you can use your household ID number in order to get your password sent to you. Your household ID number is printed on any receipt you receive from the Greenbelt Recreation Department. If you do not know either your username or household ID number, then you’ll need to contact us Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 301-397-2200 or 2208.

 
How do I change my address, phone number, email, etc.?

Once you are logged in, go to: "My Account" then "Change Household Data". Make any necessary changes to your household information (address, phone number, email, etc.) and click Submit. Please make sure the email address entered is valid.

After clicking Submit you’ll get a box verifying that the Household data has been updated.

 
How do I add a member to my household?

If you need to add a family member, or update the family member’s information (birthday, name, etc) you will need to contact the office at 301-397-2200 or 301-397-2208 to get this information updated.

 
How do I enroll in an activity?

If you know the activity number you want to enroll in, the quickest way to enroll is to click on Shop then Activity Enrollment on the menu at the left. It is advised you have a copy of the current Greenbelt Recreation Brochure, which is found at all Greenbelt Recreation facilities or online at www.greenbeltmd.gov. Type in the activity number you want to register for and the section number, select the individual you are enrolling by clicking on the down arrow in “Family Member to Enroll”, Then click on “Add to Cart.” You will then see a waiver screen which you must click on I agree in order to continue. Next you come to the payment screen where you MUST put in your payment information. The process will NOT complete if full payment is not made.

If you do not know what the activity number is, you can click on “Sorted By Activity Type” or “Sorted by Activity Number” to search for an activity. You may also click on “Complete an Activity Search” to be able to do a search setting the parameters you’re looking for, for example, activity type and location of activity. After selecting the criteria you want, the search will take all the courses that fit your criteria and display them for you. Be sure to set the "Max Match" number (found on the top) to an adequate number, so that it will display enough courses to select from.

You may also click on “Search/Inquire” then “Activity” then “Listing” to find a list of all the activities. Once you find the activity you want to enroll in, click on the shopping cart icon by the class number to enroll.

 
  1. How do I find a particular activity?

Search/Inquire - The "Search/Inquire" function is designed to assist you in searching for a class by class number, activity or by using a "detailed search." By clicking here, another link titled "activity" will appear.

Activity - By clicking here, three option links will appear in under the heading (Listing, Advanced Search and Activity Type Search). These options will help you in searching the catalog of classes to select the course section you want to enroll in.

Listing - By clicking here, the catalog of available classes is sorted by the class number or "activity code listing" and section. Please note that at the bottom of each page is the activity number code to help you find the activity you’re looking for. To do a search of activities, you'll need the exact activity number of the class you are looking for. You could also scroll through the course listings until you find the course you desire. You may find it helpful to use the Department's Brochure, which lists all the courses offered by the department. You can find the Brochure at any of the department's recreation centers or by going to www.greenbeltmd.gov.

Advanced Search By clicking here, you'll be able to do a search setting the parameters you’re looking for, for example, activity type and location of activity. After selecting the criteria you want, the search will take all the courses that fit your criteria and display them for you. Be sure to set the "Max Match" number (found on the top) to an adequate number, so that it will display enough courses to select from.

Type Search - By clicking here, you'll be able to do a search by the type of activity (like Arts & Crafts, Adult Sports, Dance, Fitness, Special Interests, etc.).

 
What do the icons by the class listings mean?

house icon- Location of the class/program

house icon- Fees of the class/program

number icon- Enrollment minimums and maximums of the class/program

question icon- More information on the class/program including: number of sections, age eligibility of participants and a course description.

 
How do I reprint a receipt?

Go to “My Account”, then “Reprint a Receipt.” After you’ve selected this you will see a list of receipts you can choose to print with the date they were originated. Click on the receipt you want and it will open in Adobe Reader.

 
How can I get a childcare statement?

Go to “My Account”, then “Print a Child Care Statement.” Fill in the tax year you want the statement for and click Submit. The form will be opened in Adobe Reader.

 
Can I pay an outstanding balance online?

Partial payments are ONLY allowed for summer camps and Mom’s Morning Out. If you’d like to pay your balance for one of these programs, you may do so by clicking on “My Account”, then “Pay Old Balances” . You will see a list of the programs that have outstanding balances due. Select the activity you want to pay for, click on the shopping cart at the left of the participant’s name, then either click on “Add Another” or “Proceed to Checkout”. As soon as you have the activities in the shopping cart, proceed to checkout and make paymen

 
How do I cancel a class?

No online cancellations are permitted. All refund transactions will be conducted at a Greenbelt Recreation Department facility only.

The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient registration or causes beyond its control. Upon doing so, the Recreation Department will issue a full course refund or household credit to all enrolled participants. Under any other circumstances, the availability of a refund or credit is not guaranteed. Requests for refunds or household credits must be made by the course participant, in writing, to the Director of the Greenbelt Recreation Department before one third (1/3) of the course has elapsed, in keeping with the provisions of the City of Greenbelt Resolution No. 65. Requests for a monetary refund generally will be granted only when unanticipated circumstances beyond the participant’s control prevent him or her from attending the program for which they are registered. Other circumstances will be considered for a household credit. Any requests granted for a monetary refund or a household credit will be subject to a 10% (minimum $2.50) administrative processing fee.

Waiting lists will be formed when programs are filled. No Fees are charged for waitlist enrollments. Every attempt will be made to accommodate people on a waiting list.
