January 12, 11:00 pm update

11:00 pm Snow Update

Road Condition Update

At approximately 10:20pm we transitioned from treating roadways to snow removal.  All snow plow trucks are in operation at this time.  Roads are passable but slick throughout town, this will improve over the next hour.  The storm predictors are still calling for 4-8 inches of snow at this time.  We will continue to push snow throughout the night.

Sidewalk Condition Update

Tonight we had a skeleton crew working on sidewalks at Roosevelt Center and City Facilities.  All our employees that worked tonight were sent home at 10:30pm, with the exception of one.   The one remaining employee is working at Roosevelt Center and will be leaving in a hour.

Tomorrow morning we will have all available members of the sidewalk and snow removal crew in at 5:30am.  We will be working on Priority 1 areas including City Facilities.

Greenbelt Connection

At this time the plan is to run the service tomorrow.  We will provide an update in the morning

The Community Center is scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.  We have staff available to open as well.

Youth Center and Springhill Lake Recreation Center are scheduled to open at 1 p.m. tomorrowand we do not anticipate any issues with opening as scheduled at this time.
