Prince George’s County Department of Environmental Resources has established permanent collection sites for household hazardous waste and electronics recycling at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill: 11611 White House Road, Upper Marlboro, MD

County residents may dispose of their home-generated hazardous waste and old computers and electronics on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For further information, call 301-982-7625.

Seniors/Persons With Disabilities

If you have no one living with you able to transport your hazardous waste, special arrangements can be made for collection at your home. Contact Bob Redding, P.G. County Recycling Office, at 301-883-6026.

Bring your block polystyrene foam to electronics recycling events for recycling (expanded polystyrene # 6). We do not accept packing peanuts, cups, trays, clam shells, or other types of hazardous packing materials.
