1-3pm: Make a tambourine in this free workshop with Rachel Cross, Artist in Residence. Seatings at 1pm and 2pm. Reservations recommended: tambourine workshop sign-up Limited spaces will also be available at both 1pm and 2pm for walk-up participants.

3pm: "Beyond the Nose" - a FREE performance introducing new Circus Camp director Mike Funt. Mike's stories will whisk you way to theatres, carnivals, theme parks, circuses and cabarets around the world.Through a series of clown routines, monologues, mask performances and comedy sketches this presentation explores the myriad ways human beings come together through laughter. 

1-4pm: Artists in Residence Studio Open House and Art Market. Visit the Community Center's 8 Artists in Residence. Shop for beautiful and affordable original artwork and pottery!

Help make costumes, props, puppets and set pieces for this year’s Creative Kids Camp production, “Hercules and Hippolyta”. Our design elements will draw inspiration from the art of the Pacific Northwest. Internships available for ages 15-17. Minimum time commitment: two weeks (part-time).  Adult volunteers also welcome. No experience necessary. Please apply as soon as possible; projects are planned based on our anticipated workforce.

For artist Leslie Shellow, the natural world can be beautiful yet destructive, awe-inspiring yet heart-breaking, tender yet abrasive. Drawing her imagery from observations of nature, Leslie addresses natural processes such as growth, decay and regeneration in dimensional, organic compositions.
