The Legend of the Koi is based on an ancient Chinese tale about perseverance that guided a personal journey through grief. Her Hashtag Manadala paintings each bring together 12 Instagram users’ images, culled through exhaustive hashtag searches of words with spiritual connotations.

Visual and performing arts programs for all ages start in January. Ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary dance. Choreography club. Juggling and circus balance skills. Ukelele. Fiber arts, ceramics and uke for homeschoolers. Potter’s wheel, ceramic hand-building, carving and glazing techniques. Watercolor and acrylic painting. Stained glass. Mixed media.
